Kalahari oasis larger and smarter now - 03.10.05
Kalahari Anib Lodge in Gondwana Kalahari Park has grown from 12 to 45 rooms during several months of intense building activity. For tour groups there are 36 well-appointed rooms, each with a small private terrace, grouped around a spacious courtyard sporting a succulent garden and a swimming pool lined by palm trees. Built from red brick, the accommodation facilities are in perfect sync with the hues of the Kalahari scenery. Chalets with nine rooms for individual guests are set a little apart. For those who enjoy camping there are 3 exclusive camping sites.

The swimming pool is the heart of the oasis in the Kalahari.

In Gondwana Kalahari Park almost all the fences of the former farming area have already been removed. The Red Kalahari is best explored on hiking trails and scenic drives. A boma – a type of enclosed, comfortable alfresco lounge - in the dunes will prove irresistible for an unforgettable dinner under the star-studded Kalahari night sky.

The lodge makes for an ideal stopover on the route through Namibia’s south. Guests are spoilt with an excellent cuisine and enchanted by the Kalahari Smile of the friendly staff.
