		With Mules through the Canyon - 24.09.07 The trial run of the new tour offered by Mule Trails Namibia was held in mid-September and proved a complete success. All of the participants were totally taken with the experience. Hiking enthusiasts who are physically fit and adventurously minded enjoy the rugged beauty of almost pristine nature in the second largest canyon on earth – from as close as it gets. They only have a light rucksack with the day’s necessities on their back as luggage and equipment is carried by mules. A qualified guide points out and explains rock formations, which are millions of years old, as well as the unique flora and fauna. Nights are spent in tents or in the open, depending on personal preferences and outside temperatures.
